A portion of Olohena Road, near the vicinity of Olohena and Waipouli Roads, will be closed for crews to tie in a waterline to an existing system.

The closure is slated for Aug. 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., weather permitting

Customers located in the service area are advised to prepare for the water service shutdown by taking the following steps:

  • Store water to meet your needs until water service can be safely restored.
  • Notify neighbors, family and friends of the water service shutdown.
  • Those with faulty water heaters should ensure that water heaters do not empty during the shutdown.
