Road closures scheduled for Kuli Road in Lāwa‘i on July 25 and July 26

Lane closures and intermittent road closures will occur along portions of Kuli Road in Lāwa‘i from July 25 through 26.

All work is weather permitting.

The county of Kaua‘i’s contractor, The Cutting-Edge Land Clearing Solutions, will perform lane closures from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with intermittent 15- to 30-minute full road closures throughout the work day in the vicinity of Kaumuali‘i Highway.

The closures are necessary for the public’s safety and to allow The Cutting-Edge Land Clearing Solutions to trim and remove trees growing along the roadway.

Make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary lane closures, use alternate routes, and allow extra time to get to destinations. During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work zones. Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
