Hawai‘i Department of Transportation announced weekly lane closures for Jun 22-28.

PUHI TO KŌLOA

Right lane closure on Kaumuali‘i Highway (Route 50) possible in either direction, in the vicinity of Puhi Road and Maluhia Road, on Monday, June 24 through Friday, June 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for grass cutting and guardrail clearing.

LĀWA‘I

Right lane closure on Kaumuali‘i Highway (Route 50) possible in either direction, in the vicinity of Akemana Road and Koloa Road, on Monday, June 24 through Friday, June 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for tree trimming.

KALĀHEO TO ‘ELE‘ELE

Right lane closure on Kaumuali‘i Highway (Route 50) possible in either direction, between mile post 12.26 and 15.90, in the vicinity of Halewili Road and Waialo Road, on Monday, June 24 through Friday, June 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for grass cutting and guardrail clearing.

Right lane closure on Kapule Highway (Route 51) possible in either direction, in the vicinity of Ka‘ana Street and Ahukini Road, on Monday, June 24 and Tuesday, June 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for tree trimming.

Right lane closure on Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) possible in either direction, in the vicinity of Ma‘alo Road, on Monday, June 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for guardrail repairs.

LĪHU‘E TO HANAMAULU

Single lane closure on Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) possible in either direction, in the vicinity of Kuene Road and Kapule Highway, on Monday, June 24 through Friday, June 28, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for striping and sign installations.

Right lane closure on Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) possible in either direction, between mile post 4 and 5, in the vicinity of Kaua‘i Beach Road and Leho Drive fronting Wailua Golf Course, on Tuesday, June 25 and Wednesday, June 26 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for guardrail repairs.

WAILUA (NIGHT WORK)

Left lane closure on Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) in the northbound direction, between mile post 5.60 and 5.96, in the vicinity of Leho Drive and Kuamo‘o Road, on Monday, June 24 through Friday, June 28 from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. for Wailua River Bridge Repair project.

Right lane closure on Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) possible in either direction, between mile post 21 and 25, in the vicinity of Waiakalua Street, on Monday, June 24 through Thursday, June 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for grass cutting.

KALIHIWAI TO PRINCEVILLE (WEEKEND/ NIGHT WORK)

Single lane closure on Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) possible in either direction, in the vicinity of Kahiliholo Road and Ka Haku Road, on Sunday, June 23, through Friday, June 28, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for highway reconstruction.

PRINCEVILLE TO HANALEI

Single lane closure on Kūhiō Highway (Route 560) possible in either direction, in the vicinity of Hanalei Plantation Road and Ohiki Road, on Monday, June 24 through Friday, June 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for installation of soil anchors at the bottom or Hanalei Hill. Alternating traffic will be allowed through the open lane.

Right lane closure on Nawiliwili Road (Route 58) possible in either direction, between mile post 0 and 1, in the vicinity of of Wa‘apa Road and Apapane Street, on Thursday, June 27 through Friday, June 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for guardrail repairs.

Alternating single lane closure on Waimea Canyon Drive (Route 550) possible in either direction, between mile post 1 and 5, on Monday, June 24 through Friday, June 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for construction of fire breaks.

KŌKE‘E (WEEKEND/ NIGHT WORK)

Single lane closure on Waimea Canyon Drive (Route 550) possible in either direction, between mile post 11.5 and 14, on Sunday, June 23 through Friday, June 28, from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. for road widening and paving. Alternating traffic will be routed through the open lane.
