A small long period south-southwest swell will slowly build today through this weekend. Surf along south facing shores will likely peak near or just below high surf advisory criteria late Saturday into Sunday. A reinforcing south swell will keep surf elevated along facing shores through early next week.

Surf along exposed east-facing shores will remain rough and choppy through the forecast period as breezy trades persist.

Surf along north-facing shores will remain near the summertime average through this weekend. However, guidance depicts a late season small, long-period swell arriving early next week and will act to elevate surf along north-facing shores.
