The 4th annual MWR Auto Skills Car Show was hosted May 11 at Pacific Missile Range Facility Barking Sands in Kekaha, and the event’s organizer says it was a huge success.

“Hot rods! Antique cars! Junior dragsters! Custom trucks! We had them all!” exclaimed Steve Swacker, event organizer and MWR Auto Skills Center manager. “This was a wonderful team event that was possible because of the community participation. Thank you to the residents of Kaua‘i for sharing your fantastic custom rides with us!”

About 600 people wandered around base throughout the day during the car show that featured 70 custom vehicles. While they were perusing the awesome automobiles, attendees cast votes for their favorites in 10 categories.
