Swell Summary
Surf along south facing shores will gradually increase to near average Wednesday and then possibly above average Thursday as a series of overlapping, long- period south swells will begin to fill through the week. Surf should remain elevated through the weekend.
ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW AD ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW AD A small, medium-period northwest swell will decline today. A new medium period north-northwest swell will fill in later today keeping surf near near to just below average. A moderate, short period northwest pulse may arrive Wednesday night, peaking Thursday into Friday bringing moderate sized surf along north facing shores. There is a potential for surf to reach High Surf Advisory criteria Thursday and early Friday if the swell height comes in higher than model guidance, thus will continue to monitor all available guidance.
West facing shores will see an uptick in surf through the week due to the overlapping northwest and south swells wrapping into some exposed areas. Surf along east facing shores will remain well below normal levels through the weekend.
