The County of Kauaʻi Housing Agency is encouraging the public to complete the Kaua‘i Community Survey on Homelessness, as the agency begins the process to develop a Kaua‘i County Five Year Homelessness Strategic Plan.

The survey is anonymous and open until May 10 at the following link: Kaua’i County Community Survey on Homelessness (surveymonkey.com).

The survey is brief and aims to understand perspectives on the experience, impacts and solutions of homelessness on Kaua‘i. All are encouraged to participate and share the link with others.

The first phase of the Kaua‘i County Five Year Homelessness Strategic Plan involves engaging the community, homeless service providers and people experiencing homelessness in surveys, focus groups, interviews and listening sessions.

The information gathered from this initial planning stage will inform the development of a needs assessment and draft strategic plan that will be shared with the community for additional feedback later in the summer.
