Ahukini State Recreational Pier to close for Kaua‘i Fire personnel training

Ahukini State Recreational Pier will temporarily close for Kaua‘i Fire Department personnel to conduct helicopter and water rescue training.

The pier will be closed on Tuesday from 8 a.m. to noon.

“This exercise is a vital investment in safeguarding communities, ensuring our personnel are equipped with the skills and readiness to confront emergencies,” said KFD Chief Michael Gibson.
