The Coco Palms Sewage Pump Station will be shut down starting Jan. 10 to replace isolation valves inside the station’s dry well.

Kaua‘i County officials say the work will start at 10 p.m. and go till 7 a.m. on Jan. 11. The pump station is located in the vicinity of Haleilio Road and Kūhiō Highway. No lane closures are scheduled.

The work has been contracted out to Kiewit Infrastructure West Co.

To accomplish the project, the work must occur during the late night/early morning hours when wastewater flows are at their lowest.
