Dec. 18 update: The Department of Public Works and its contractor Earthworks Pacific, Inc., announced that road work on Aliomanu Road will be postponed until further notice. A new start date will be announced in a future update. The Department of Public Works thanks the community for their patience and understanding.

Original post: A portion of Aliomanu Road, near Kuaehu Point, in Anahola will be closed on weekdays, starting Jan. 2, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This temporary full closure is necessary for road repair work. The project is estimated to be complete by the end of 2024.
