An online Kaua’i Climate Action Forum will take place Wednesday to discuss transforming our food systems and building resiliency locally and worldwide.

Hosted by Kauaʻi Climate Action Coalition and Hawaiʻi Alliance for Progressive Action (HAPA) at 6 p.m., and co-sponsored by Surfrider Foundation, Zero Waste Kauaʻi, 350.org and Hawaiʻi Land Trust, the forum will explore climate solutions along our local food systems.

Titled “Towards a Fair and Sustainable Food System for Hawaiʻi,” the event will feature individuals and organizations working to shift our local food system using a variety of tools and practices. Each of our panelists will provide examples of ways you can engage to create a more fair, sustainable and climate resilient food system here in Hawaiʻi.
