Lane closures scheduled for portions of Niumalu Road Nov. 2-3

Portions of Niumalu Road in Nāwiliwili will be closed on Nov. 2 and Nov. 3 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting.

The closures are necessary for road repaving work.

A portion of Niumalu Road, near the Hulemalu Road intersection, will be closed to all through traffic. The road will be open to local traffic only for residents accessing their properties within the closure. Flaggers will be positioned at the start of the road closures to best direct residents to their properties.

Please observe and obey all traffic controls, posted signs, message boards, and flaggers. Drivers should anticipate detours, lane and road closure delays, and allow extra travel time while driving through the work areas. No parking will be allowed in the work zones during this time.
