Swell Summary

Surf along north and west facing shores will steadily lower through the day as a north-northwest swell (330-340 degrees) eases. Heights should dip below the advisory levels by Friday, then continue to lower through the weekend as the swell moves out. Surf will trend back up early next week as a new north-northwest swell arrives and builds down the island chain. Heights will near the advisory level for exposed north and west facing shores of the smaller islands as early as Monday. Surf along south facing shores will hold above the October average into the weekend as a new long-period, south- southwest swell arrives and peaks later today through Friday. Surf will ease through the weekend as this swell moves out. An upward trend is expected again next week with overlapping long-period, south- southwest swells expected.
