Several environmental groups helping tackle climate change are hosting an online meeting beginning at 6 p.m. tonight to help the public better understand how extreme weather impacts the Garden Isle.

The Kaua‘i Climate Action Forum, sponsored by Zero Waste Kaua‘i, the Kaua‘i Climate Action Coalition and Surfrider Kaua‘i, will feature University of Hawai‘i oceanographer and climate change expert Christopher Sabine, who will give a presentation tailored to Kaua‘i during the Zoom meeting.

Sabine’s presentation will be followed by a community discussion.

To attend the climate forum, register online.
