Lane closures scheduled for portions in Kalihiwai from Sept. 20 to 26

Portions of Kahiliholo Road and Kamo‘okoa Road in Kalihiwai will be closed on weekdays Starting Wednesday.

County crews will be doing road resurfacing work. One lane will remain open to accommodate alternating traffic in both directions. Closures will be in place from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Work will continue till Sept. 26, weather permitting.

During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work zones. Flaggers will be positioned at both ends of the work zone to direct traffic. 

Motorists are advised to make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary road closures, use alternate routes and allow extra time to get to destinations.
