Partial lane closures to be implemented along Pu‘uwai Road in Kalāheo

Partial lane closures along Pu‘uwai Road in Kalāheo are planned so crews can do excavation and waterline work through Sept. 30, weather permitting.
Work will be done from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The project will be conducted at the intersections of Pu‘uwai Road and Kīkala Road and Pu‘uwai and Po‘ohiwi Road. No parking will be allowed in the work zones.
Residents, pedestrians and motorists are advised to adhere to flaggers, who will be on-site to assist with traffic flow in the following areas:
Intermittent partial lane closures will be in place during the above work hours at the intersection with Po‘ohiwi and Kīkala and from the north end of Pu‘uwai to Pu‘ulima Road.
Because of the narrow roadway, an intermittent road closure with access to local traffic only will be in place on Po‘ohiwi during the above work hours.
