The Garden Isle is expected to see isolated minor coastal flooding starting in the afternoon hours during the daily peak tides through Wednesday.

According to the National Weather Service, vulnerable areas include low-lying coastal roadways, docks, boat
ramps, marina parking lots, and other coastal infrastructure.

Avoid driving through flooded roadways. If forced to drive through salt water, be sure to rinse vehicle with fresh water. Impacts include minor coastal erosion where beaches are normally dry and saltwater inundation.

Move electronics, vehicles or other valuables to higher ground. Monitor vessels to ensure mooring lines don’t get too tight and watch out for overwash around boat ramps. Secure canoes or other watercraft stowed on beaches.
