Kaua‘i Island Utility Cooperative to hold annual membership meeting on July 20

Kaua‘i Island Utility Cooperative members are invited to attend the cooperative’s annual meeting on July 20 at the Kauaʻi Philippine Cultural Center in Puhi.

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., and the meeting will start at 6:00 p.m.

“This is our opportunity to share with our members what has transpired over the past year and what we can look forward to, while receiving questions and feedback from them as well,” said KIUC’s President and Chief Executive Officer David Bissell.

Questions submitted in advance will be addressed following the formal presentation. Questions must be in written form and received via email at [email protected] no later than July 17 at noon.

KIUC staff and members of the Board of Directors will also be available to speak individually
with members before and after the meeting.

Attendees will receive a copy of KIUC’s 2022 Annual Report. The first 250 attendees will also receive a ticket for a free bag of rice, which will be distributed at the end of the meeting, along with chili and rice “to go.”

This will be the 21st annual meeting held by KIUC since becoming the state’s only electrical cooperative in November 2002.
