County of Kaua‘i announces holiday closures for Independence Day

In observance of Independence Day, County of Kaua‘i offices will be closed on July 4. Officials also announce the following holiday closures:

  • All refuse transfer stations;
  • The Kekaha Landfill;
  • All County of Kaua‘i offices;
  • All neighborhood centers;
  • The Waimea Swimming Pool;
  • All HI5 redemption centers; and
  • The Kaua‘i Resource Center (composting bins, batteries, fluorescent lights, reuse).

The schedule for residential refuse pick-up will remain unchanged.

The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on its current daily schedule.

Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume on Wednesday, July 5.
