Surfrider Kaua‘i has slate of events through July

The Kaua‘i chapter of the Surfrider Foundation, a nationwide ocean conservation group, has a full lineup of activities and volunteer opportunities scheduled through July:

  • Sat. July 1- Hanalei Board Swap Meet Booth 8:30 to 11 a.m. Volunteers Needed.
  • Wed. July 5- Anahola Beach Cleanup from 9 to 11:30 a.m. with Kaua‘i PAL.
    • Meet at Kumu Camp. Family-friendly event. For more information call 808-635-2593.
  • Wed. July 5, 12, 19 & 26-Net Patrol Coastal Cleanup 3:30 to 6 p.m.
    • Meeting location TBA. Please text or call to RSVP. This event includes a hike on a rocky coastline to cleanup area. Tabis or closed-toed shoes required. 816-781-5883 for more info.
  • Wed. July 31-Family Ocean Education Event – Princeville details TBA
