Temporary locations for Building and Engineering divisions, Parks Permitting Office open to the public

County officials announce that temporary locations for the Department of Public Works Building and Engineering Divisions and the Department of Parks and Recreation Permitting Office are now available to the public at the Līhu‘e Civic Center.

Customers can visit the following locations:

  • The Engineering Division, located at the Piʻikoi Building (purchasing office), Suite 303, across the Department of Motor Vehicles, from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.;
  • The Department of Parks and Recreation Permitting Office, located at the Moʻikeha Building, Suite 105, from 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and
  • The Building Division, located at Hale Kōkua, Suite 302, from 7:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Due to damage from a water leak on June 18, the offices above, along with the Department of Human Resources are undergoing repairs. Repairs to the affected areas are estimated to be complete in six months.
