UPDATE: “Missing” Kaua‘i man left Hawai‘i of own accord
10:08 a.m. June 28 update: The Kaua’i Police Department states that Harold David Pike, age 67, is no longer considered missing. Throughout the investigation, KPD detectives determined that Pike flew out of the state on his own accord.
Pike was reported missing on June 19 at approximately 10:00 a.m.
Acting Captain of the Investigative Services Bureau Kennison Nagahisa stated, “We appreciate the public’s effort in searching for Mr. Pike. We cannot effectively do our part without the community’s cooperation.”
Original post: The Kaua’i Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a missing Kalāheo man.
Harold David Pike, age 67, was reported missing on June 19 at approximately 10 a.m. He was last seen on June 15 around 11 a.m. walking eastbound near The Right Slice on Kaumuali‘i Highway in Kalāheo. He is known to frequent the Port Allen small boat harbor and Nāwiliwili areas.
Pike was last seen wearing a gray hat, gray tank top, board shorts and gray Crocs brand footwear. He is 5 feet and 7 inches tall and weighs approximately 170. He has hazel eyes, ‘blondish’ gray hair, and has tattoos on both upper shoulders.
