Kawaikini Charter School’s annual fundraiser at Rob’s Good Times Grill in Līhuʻe

Kawaikini New Century Public Charter School invites the community to Rob’s Good Times Grill in Līhuʻe on June 20 for “Kanikapila me Kawaikini,” the school’s biggest fundraiser of the year. 

This event, which supports the school’s parent committee initiatives, will be held at 4303 Rice St. in Līhuʻe from 6 to 9 p.m.

The event will feature musical performances by Kūpaoa, Kamahaʻo Haumea-Thronas, and Kualono, as well as hula from the renowned Hālau Ka Lei Mokihana o Leināʻala.

One mea ʻai (meal) and one drink included per ticket. The local menu is an assortment of pā liʻiliʻi (small plates, pupus, tapa-style.) 

Tickets are available for presale at $120 until 3 p.m. on June 20 and $150 at the door. 

Guests must be 21 and older, and valid I.D. will be checked.

Silent auction and leis are available to further support the K-12 Hawaiian language charter school.

Purchases support the parent committee that organizes ʻohana (family) experiences, haumāna (student) enrichment, campus beautification, and more.
