The King Kamehameha Day Parade will be held in downtown Līhu‘e on Saturday, Jun. 10, starting at 9:30 a.m.

The parade will begin at Vidinha Stadium, head down Ho‘olako and Rice streets, and end on Ēiwa Street at the Historic County Building. The roads on the parade route will be closed to regular traffic from 9:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Officers will be manning the closures and directing traffic flow.

To accommodate the parade and road closures, the bus stop on Ēiwa Street will be temporarily relocated to Hardy Street, fronting the State Building from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Additionally, the Kaua‘i Bus Līhu‘e Shuttle Route 70, will not service bus stops on Rice Street during the closure. Bus riders are advised to utilize alternate bus stops to get to their destinations.
