Kauaʻi Police Activities League gears up for first flag football season in four years

The Kaua‘i Police Activities League is holding its first flag football season since 2019, with 500 keiki ready to play.

The season begins June 3 and lasts for eight weeks.

The league, known as K-PAL, is devoted to instilling character, self-esteem and healthy lifestyles in keiki. The league is divided into divisions by age group, with players ranging from kindergarten to high school seniors.

The league employs the slogan Obey the L.A.W.

  • L: LISTEN to your parents and coaches
  • A: Have a good ATTITUDE
  • W: Have a strong WORK ETHIC

The games are free, and the public is encouraged to attend. K-PAL is also looking for more volunteer coaches and referees for the flag football season. If you or someone you know is interested in coaching, please complete a volunteer form at www.kauai.gov/police or email kpal@kauai.gov.
