UPDATE: outages canceled for Wainiha and Ha‘ena

Updated 2:22 p.m.: The scheduled outage for this evening has been postponed. KIUC will alert members when the work has been rescheduled.

Original post: In order to complete emergency work at the Wainiha substation, Kaua‘i Island Utility Cooperative members in Wainiha and Ha‘ena will be without power this evening from 11 p.m. to approximately 3 a.m.

“We appreciate your patience and understanding while this work is being completed,” a KIUC spokesperson said in an alert regarding the planned power outages.
