Lane closures scheduled for portions of Kōloa April 24 to May 10

The Kaua‘i Department of Public Works and its contractor Maui Kupono Builders have announced that portions of Kōloa will be closed for road resurfacing from April 24 to May 10, on weekdays, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting.

Work is scheduled for Ala Kinoiki, near Weliweli Road, on April 24.

Work is scheduled for Weliweli Road, between Ala Kinoiki and Waikomo Road, from April 24 to May 10. Traffic will be detoured through Ala Kinoiki and Waikomo Road while work is being done.

Motorists are advised to use alternative routes. No parking will be allowed in the work zones during this time. Flaggers will be positioned on-site to help motorists and pedestrians navigate around the work zones. Access to properties will be provided.

Please observe and obey all traffic controls, posted signs, and flaggers. Drivers should anticipate detours, lane, and road closure delays and allow extra travel time while driving through the work areas.
