Graduating seniors on Kauaʻi can now apply for the second annual Hōkūala Kaua‘i scholarship program.

The resort will award five $1,000 scholarships to help students with their pursuit of an undergraduate college education. To give special thanks to the Hōkūala ʻohana, one scholarship will go to a dependent family member of a Hōkūala employee.

“We are dedicated to returning goodwill to the Kaua‘i community and especially for the next  generation who will lead us into the future,” said Colette Nagao, operations manager of  Hōkūala Kaua‘i. “Education can provide wonderful opportunities and potential for change,  personal growth and equality. We hope our scholarship program provides inspiration for young  adults to pursue their academic endeavors.”
