Learn about $3 million in emergency funds for Kauaʻi homeowners facing hardship

Hawai‘i Community Lending, in partnership with Kauaʻi County, will provide information about the Homeowners Assistance Fund on March 1 at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church in Līhu‘e.

Homeowners who are experiencing financial hardship may qualify for up to $30,000 from the Homeowners Assistance Fund. There is $3 million in emergency funds available.

“The emergency funds can assist homeowners that may have past due mortgage, property taxes or home homeowner association fees,” said Kauaʻi County Housing Agency Director Adam Roversi.

Presentations on March 1 are offered during the following times:

  • 9 to 11 a.m., presentation and breakfast
  • Noon to 2 p.m., presentation and lunch
