Beware of box jellyfish at Salt Pond beach parks, south- and west-facing shores on Kauaʻi

Ocean Safety officials have posted “Box Jellyfish” signs at Salt Pond beach parks on Kauaʻi.

In addition, officials advise avoiding swimming on south- and west-facing shores because box jellyfish may be near the shore.

Beachgoers are urged to follow all warning signs.
