Local artists’ Kaua‘i Quilt Show opens Friday

The Kaua‘i Society of Artists will launch its latest Kaua‘i Quilt Show on Friday, Feb. 10, at the society’s gallery at Kukui Grove Center in Līhuʻe.

The annual show – scheduled to run through Wednesday, Feb. 22 – will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. To kick things off, the Kaua‘i Society of Artists will hold a reception on opening day from 5 to 7 p.m.

The Kaua‘i Society of Artists was organized in 1975. In addition to the Kaua‘i Quilt Show, the society also hosts “Art Kaua‘i,” “The Small Works Show,” “The Spring Show” and the marine debris art show “Washed Up” on an annual basis.
