High Surf Advisory extended for Ni‘ihau and Kaua‘i

The National Weather Service has extended its High Surf Advisory to 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Surf along north- and west-facing shores of Ni‘ihau and north-facing shores of Kaua‘i is expected to be 14 to 18 feet. Surf along west-facing shores of Kaua‘i is expected to be 10 to 14 feet.

Impacts are expected to be moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currents will make swimming dangerous.
