Missing Washington State woman located and safe

Update: It was reported just after 11 a.m. Thursday that Jessica Rose Lucero, who had been reported as missing, was located and is safe. The Kaua‘i Police Department thanks the public for its assistance.

Original story: Kaua‘i police are seeking the public’s help with locating a Washington State woman who was reported missing Dec. 21.

The Kaua‘i Police Department says 36-year-old Jessica Rose Lucero is a visitor to the island and was last seen Dec. 22 in the Princeville area. She is 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds, with green eyes and brown hair.

Lucero was last seen wearing a long white coat, brown pants, blue running shoes and a brown purse.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is urged to call police dispatch at 808-241-1711. Those who prefer to remain anonymous can visit the Crime Stoppers Kaua‘i website.
