Local environmental groups Zero Waste Kaua‘i, Kaua‘i Climate Action Coalition and Surfrider Kaua‘i, which together form the Kaua‘i Climate Action Forum, will ask “Should We Burn Trash?” at their next virtual event.

Guest speakers include “Dump Doctor” John Harder and Executive Director of the Energy Justice Network Mike Ewall, who will helm a conversation about landfills, incinerations and zero waste, according to organizers.

The event is slated for Wednesday, Dec. 14, at 6 p.m. A short presentation will be followed by a Q&A and community discussion via Zoom. Register to attend online at bit.ly/kauaistrash.
