Controlled agriculture burn to be conducted near Kaumakani

The Kaua‘i Fire Department Fire Prevention Bureau is notifying the public that a controlled agriculture burn will be conducted by a Kaua‘i farming company from 7 a.m. to noon Nov. 16-18 near the Kaumakani makai area, weather permitting.
The farming company is also providing a fire protection setup, with water tenders and spotters to monitor the permitted activity.
