A building northwest swell (320 degrees) will produce advisory-level surf along the north- and west-facing shores of Kauaʻi, Niʻihau and Oʻahu through 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, according to the National Weather Service.
The surf will build to 10 to 16 feet along north-facing shores and 8 to 12 feet along west-facing shores.
Strong breaking waves and strong currents will make swimming dangerous.
