Traffic alert: Portions of Maluhia and Kōloa roads to be closed Oct. 31 to Nov. 4

Portions of Maluhia and Kōloa roads in Kōloa will be closed on Oct. 31 to Nov. 4, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., weather permitting, according to the Department of Public Works.

The one-lane closure is necessary for the Roads Division to conduct grass-cutting and shoulder maintenance work.

The remaining open lane will accommodate alternating traffic in both directions, with flaggers positioned at the ends of the closures to direct traffic. Motorists must follow all construction signs. They can use alternate routes and should allow extra time to get to destinations in this area.
