Lane closures scheduled for part of Kekaha roadway

Crews will be resurfacing a portion of a Kekaha roadway next week, causing one lane to be temporarily closed.

The single-lane closure on Kōke‘e Road near Old Mānā Road is scheduled for 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. from Oct. 24-26, weather permitting. One lane will remain open to accommodate alternating traffic in both directions.

No parking will be allowed in the work zones. Flaggers will be at both ends of the work area to direct traffic. Motorists are urged to make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary closure, use alternate routes and allow extra time to get to their destinations.
