The County of Kaua’i will distribute free COVID-19 home test kits at County neighborhood centers from Oct. 19 to Oct. 21.

Approximately 6,000 COVID-19 home test kits will be given out, with a limit of five tests per individual or household, on a first-come, first-served basis, until supplies run out.

“Home test kits are one of the many tools at our disposal to reduce the risk of spreading COVID,” Kauaʻi County Mayor Derek S. K. Kawakami said in a press release.

The test distribution is in partnership with the Hawai‘i State Department of Health Kaua‘i District Health Office.
