According to the National Weather Service, large breaking waves of 10 to 15 feet are expected for portions of Ni‘ihau and Kaua‘i.
NWS reports impacts will be moderate. Beachgoers should expect strong breaking waves, shore break, and strong longshore and rip currents making swimming difficult and dangerous.
