Update: Police reported just before 9 a.m. Thursday via email that 64-year-old Anahola resident Cheryl Subish has been located and is safe. The Kaua‘i Police Department thanks the public for its assistance. 

Original story: Kaua‘i police are asking the public for help with finding a missing woman.

Police said 64-year-old Cheryl Subish of Anahola was reported missing Oct. 5. She was last seen at noon Tuesday in Līhu‘e, walking near the bus stop on Eiwa Street. Subish was wearing blue jeans and a white and black zebra print shirt and carrying a purse at the time.

She is described as 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighing approximately 165 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.
