Surf Advisory Issued for South Shores on Monday
A south swell is expected to build tonight and bring surf heights to advisory level for south facing shores for all the islands by Monday morning.
The large surf will continue into Tuesday.
The National Weather Service reported on Sunday that surf will be 7 to 10 feet during the advisory period from 6 a.m. Monday to 6 a.m. Tuesday.
Beachgoers should expect strong breaking waves, shore break, and strong longshore and rip currents making swimming difficult and dangerous.
