Lane Closures Now Scheduled Through Sept. 2 For Waha, Lauoho Roads

Update: The county announced Monday, Aug. 29, that tree and grass trimming work in the area of Waha and Lauoho roads in Kalāheo has been rescheduled through Sept. 2.

Original story: The public is advised that portions of Waha and Lauoho roads in Kalāheo will be under one-lane closures from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. weekdays Aug. 26-31, weather permitting.

The lane closures will allow the county Roads Division to conduct tree and grass trimming along the roadways.

Motorists are advised to follow all road work signs, use alternate routes, allow extra time to destinations and follow the speed limits.
