Lane Closures Scheduled For Portions of Waikomo Road in Kōloa

Portions of a Kōloa roadway will be closed later this month.

The county Department of Public Works and contractor Maui Kupono Builders announce that portions of Waikomo Road will be closed from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Aug. 29-31, for road resurfacing work, weather permitting.

Motorists are advised to make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary road closures, use alternate routes and allow extra time to get to destinations.

During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work zones. Flaggers will be positioned at both ends of the work zone to direct traffic.
