Update: The Planning Department’s front counter will reopen Friday, Aug. 26. It was anticipating the counter would be closed for the rest of the week, but repairs were completed ahead of schedule. The county thanks the public for its patience.

The Planning Department’s front counter will remain closed Thursday and Friday, Aug. 25-26. Updates will be announced.

Original Story: The front counter at the county Planning Department at the Kapule Building in the Līhu‘e Civic Center will be closed Wednesday, Aug. 24, while the area undergoes repairs to damages caused by an air conditioning unit leak.

During the closure, all services will remain available; however, anyone needing in-person assistance can call 808-241-4050 and a representative will meet them outside.
