The Department of Public Works announced that a portion of Weke Road in Hanalei near Hanalei Black Pot Beach Park will be closed on Aug. 9, from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The lane closure is necessary to disassemble and remove concrete barriers from the grass shoulder area.
Residents and visitors shall allow extra time to get to destinations. Flaggers will be positioned at the end of the work zone to direct traffic to and from Hanalei Black Pot Beach Park.
