Lane Closures Scheduled for Kekaha Road, Akialoa Road Aug. 1 to Aug. 10

The Department of Public Works and Geolabs, Inc. are announcing that sections Kekaha Road and Akialoa Road will be under one-lane closures from Aug. 1-10, weekdays, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weather permitting.

Portions of Kekaha Road and Akialoa Road, from Kekaha Road and Kaumuali‘i Highway intersection to the intersection of Akialoa Road and Kaumuali‘i Highway, will be affected. The single-lane closures are necessary for engineering study work to obtain data for a future project.

With school in session, no work near Kekaha Elementary School will occur during the peak traffic times for school drop-off and pick-up.
