The state Department of Transportation issued its weekly list of road and lane closures for July 9-15. Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice. All projects are weather permitting.

— KŪHIŌ HIGHWAY (ROUTES 56/560) —

1) WAILUA (NIGHT WORK)

Two-lane closure of Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) possible in either direction between mile markers 5.6 and 6.7, Leho Drive and Kapa‘a Bypass, on Monday evening, July 11 through Friday morning, July 15, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., for road widening.

2) KĪLAUEA TO PRINCEVILLE

Right lane closure on Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) possible in either direction between mile markers 24 and 28, Kalihiwai Road and Ka Haku Road, on Monday, July 11 through Friday, July 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for guardrail repair.

3) PRINCEVILLE (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Right lane closure on Kūhiō Highway (Route 560) possible in either direction between mile markers 3.4 and 3.9, Kumu Road and Waipa Stream, on Saturday, July 9, from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and Monday, July 11 through Friday, July 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for tree trimming and grass cutting.

4) WAINIHA

Right lane closure on Kūhiō Highway (Route 560) possible in either direction between mile markers 5 and 7, Lumahai Beach Park and Wainiha Powerhouse Road, on Monday, July 11 through Friday, July 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for guardrail repair.

— KUAMO‘O ROAD (ROUTE 580) —

1) WAILUA

Right lane closure on Kuamo‘o Road (Route 580) possible in either direction between mile markers 0.2 and 1, Ohana Street and Kuamoo Road, on Monday, July 11 through Friday, July 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for tree trimming and grass cutting.
