Lane Closure Scheduled For Portion of Waha Road

A portion of a Kalāheo roadway will be closed for most of this week beginning Tuesday because of water meter installation work.

The county Department of Public Works and contractor Arroyo’s Plumbing LLC said part of Waha Road will be closed from 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, June 28-July 1, weather permitting.

“Please make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary road closures, use alternate routes and allow extra time to get to destinations,” a news release from the county said. “Motorists are advised to expect brief and occasional delays. Please exercise caution and drive slowly when commuting through the work area.”
