Delays Push Back Lane Closure Planned at Kōloa Road, Kaumuali‘i Highway

Update: According to an email from a county spokesman, because of delays, work on this project has been extended and will now take place June 14-15.

Original story: A closure at the turn lane off Kōloa Road onto Kaumuali’i Highway is scheduled June 6-9 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., the Department of Public Works and Goodfellow Bros. LLC., announced.

The closure is necessary to perform underground utility improvements.

Eastbound motorists from the South Side, Kōloa, or Lāwa‘i are recommended to take Maluhia Road to access Kaumuali‘i Highway.
